Carefully remove the cracked tile by using a hammer and chisel to break it away from the substrate.

Clear out any old mortar or adhesive from the recessed area to create a clean surface.

Apply a layer of thin-set mortar or cement to the back of the replacement tile or directly to the substrate.

Press the new tile firmly into place, ensuring it is flush with the adjacent tiles.

Allow the mortar to dry completely according to the manufacturer's specifications.
